LTP continues its growth journey with 3 new Board Members

At LTP, we work every day to strengthen our position as the preferred production partner for leading brands within garment and furniture industries. Our strategy is based on an ever-expanding global foundation with a strong sustainable focus, as well as a prioritized development of automation and digitization to continuously improve an efficient production and stable supply chain.

To support the day-to-day management and the LTP team on the strategic journey, 3 new members have joined the board. It is therefore with great pleasure we welcome Kenni Riise, Katja Lund Schjølin & Claus Flyger Pejstrup, who joined LTP's board of directors on August 1st 2022.

The new board members

Kenni Riise has global management experience gained from several leading roles in multiple growth companies. The experience is gained from both CEO and senior management roles of international brands from mono as well as multi-brand perspectives. In addition to his extensive commercial brand and market insight, Kenni Riise has a strong Supply Chain background, and a Master in Supply Chain Management from Copenhagen Business School. Today Kenni Riise is the CEO of P/E owned O. Mustad & Son, which excels in an OEM segment in the production and marketing of sports/fishing equipment globally. Previously, Kenni Riise was CEO of the capital fund-owned GUBI A/S and Vipp A/S. Kenni Riise thus brings experience from, and insight into, LTP's core segments. Kenni lives in Oslo, Norway with Sissel - with whom he has two sons, aged 10 and 13.

As a senior executive, Claus Flyger Pejstrup has considerable experience from the entire value chain – both from sales and marketing as well as finance, sourcing and supply chain management. On August 1 he will take up the position as CCO and member of the Executive Board at Norlys – Denmark's largest integrated energy and telecommunications company, which serves more than 1.7million customers. Before Norlys, Claus Flyger Pejstrup was managing director at ECCO in Europe, and previously he spent 19 years in the LEGO Group in various leading positions, most recently as a member of the Executive Board responsible for LEGO Retail. Claus Flyger Pejstrup has a degree in business economics (cand.merc.) from Aarhus University, lives in Vejle with his wife and together they have two children aged 16 and 20.

Katja Lund Schjølin gains her experience as a former Management Consultant at Deloitte Consulting in both Copenhagen and New York, and at Vertical Strategy (now Bain & Company). She has experience with strategic business development, application of digital solutions and intelligent use of data. Katja has, out of her own Boutique Consultancy; Corporate Creatives, advised global listed companies in their continued development. Katja has been responsible for establishing and leading a consulting team at the international Center of Excellence for Marketing Automation and Personalization; Wunderman Thompson MAP. Here she has advised global premium brands on delivering personalized customer experiences. Most recently, Katja founded a sustainable and customizable Direct-to-Consumer jewelery brand, Longvé, which will be launched in the autumn of 2022. Katja is educated from Copenhagen Business School (2012) with a MSc in economics and psychology (cand.merc.psycology.), and also has a board education from INSEAD(2019). In 2021, Katja was on Berlingske's Talent 100 list, and she also holds a board position at Nümph.
Privately, Katja lives in Holte, together with her boyfriend, and their two children aged 2 and 4.

Profiles with strong competencies

"We are pleased that Kenni Riise, Katja Lund Schjølin and Claus Flyger Plejstrup are joining LTP's board of directors. The 3 new profiles brings strong skills and extensive experience, which will help us to challenge our ideas and perspective of LTP's further growth journey", says Chairman Jan Jakobsen.

Jan Jakobsen continues:

"It is essential to have a variety of competences in the composition of LTP's board, in order to be able to act and support around an ever-increasing market complexity. We have emphasized expertise within global sales and operations, multi-channel business experience, as well as experience with how data can be transformed into value for LTP, LTP's customers and business partners".

On the same occasion, the board says goodbye to outgoing board members Peter Midtgaard and Astrid Haug. Chairman Jan Jakobsen says in this connection:

"After respectively 19 years and 4 years on LTP's board of directors, Peter Midtgaard and Astrid Haug are stepping down, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to both of them for their valuable contribution”.
